Sprinklr: Upgraded Smart+ (current state)
Sprinklr's Upgraded Smart+ Campaigns shipped in release 26.1. This page documents what that currently covers, verbatim from Sprinklr Help.
Supported objectives
Sprinklr supports Upgraded Smart+ for three objectives today 1:
- Web Conversions — Non Catalog Flows (verbatim wording in the Sprinklr doc)
- App Promotion
- Lead Generation
"Non Catalog Flows" is the explicit exclusion — catalog-driven web flows are not yet supported. See gap-analysis.
Enablement path
Ads Composer → TikTok ad account → Paid Initiative Details tab → select a supported objective → enter campaign name → tick Upgraded Smart+ Campaign checkbox. The toggle is also accessible at the PI (Paid Initiative) Level 1.
Targeting
Two types:
- Manual Targeting — standard audience fields.
- Automatic Targeting — two new sub-fields 1:
- Audience Controls — delivery to these options is guaranteed.
- Audience Suggestions — guide automatic targeting; delivery not guaranteed.
Budget, schedule, placement
- Campaign Budget Optimization toggle.
- Bidding and scheduling fields.
- Placements: Automatic or Manual.
- Dayparting supported.
Creatives
Handled in the Creatives tab with the Upgraded Smart+ Creatives flow — see sprinklr-upgraded-smart-plus-creatives.
Deprecation notice
Verbatim from Sprinklr's doc 1:
"Upgraded Smart+ Campaign will replace the first version of Smart+ Campaigns. Starting February 2026, creation of new ad entities from Smart+ will be deprecated and only management of ad entities will be supported in Sprinklr."
