Aiden Blumenstein is Head of Programs and Storytelling at Founders, Inc., where he produces video content, runs founder programs, and oversees the media strategy that documents life on the Fort Mason campus 4. He joined f.inc in October 2024 after growing buildspace's social presence from 85,000 to 235,000 Instagram followers in six months 1.

Education

Blumenstein graduated from Northeastern University in April 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Communications, concentrating in business analytics and marketing 1. At Northeastern he was involved with Greenline Records (marketing and production), NUTV, and the IDEA Venture Accelerator 1. He worked as a content specialist at IDEA from September 2022 to February 2024, creating a content strategy built around venture interviews, highlights, and animation 1. He also contributed articles to Northeastern Global News as a student writer 6.

Early career

From October 2020 to February 2024, Blumenstein worked as a freelance director of photography and producer, leading film crews of up to 20 people on projects with budgets ranging from zero to over $5,000 1. During his Northeastern co-op at Wellington Management from July to December 2022, he collaborated with the Director of Technology Transformation on internal communication initiatives and directed a video interview series with company leadership 1.

From July to December 2023, he worked at Boston Consulting Group's Global Multi-Media Marketing and Content Studio in Boston 1. At BCG he served as lead producer on three marketing initiatives, coordinating directly with C-suite executives, and developed a production workflow for events including the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and COP28 1. He produced social media and paid advertising assets for BCG's flagship podcast, contributing to its rise to the number-one ranking on Apple Business Podcasts 1.

buildspace

Blumenstein joined buildspace in March 2024 as filmmaker and growth lead, remaining through the organization's closure in September 2024 1. During that period he grew the Nights and Weekends program from 30,000 to 75,000 participating students, helped scale an AI platform from zero to 100,000 users, and grew the Instagram account from 85,000 to 235,000 followers 1. His content accumulated over 10 million views on Instagram, 3 million on X, and 100,000 on YouTube 1.

Founders, Inc.

After buildspace closed, Blumenstein was one of four former buildspace team members who joined Founders, Inc. 2. He became Head of Programs and Storytelling in October 2024 1. Tech Times profiled his hiring as part of a broader industry trend of AI startups and accelerators bringing filmmakers in-house rather than outsourcing content production to agencies 2.

At f.inc, Blumenstein leads a media team that has accumulated over 50 million views across social platforms 3. The team's style uses a grainy, lo-fi aesthetic with fast edits and bold text, described by the newsletter Refining VC as making content "feel nostalgic and real, almost like a behind-the-scenes documentary" 3. He helped produce the March 2025 Ship It showcase, a four-week program that culminated in 60 founders presenting demos 3 5. Founders, Inc. has credited him on campus founder documentation that has driven deal flow and program applications, with individual founder story videos regularly reaching 50,000 to 100,000 views 3. He also runs Off Season programming and produces content for Demo Day events at the campus 1.
