Arihant Bapna

Arihant Bapna is a Canadian software engineer and co-founder and CTO of Eden, an AI creative workspace built in Toronto.¹⁴ Eden is part of the Canopy Spring 2026 cohort at Founders, Inc.

Early life and education

Bapna attended Winston Churchill High School in Ontario, graduating in 2021.¹ He enrolled in Computer Science at the University of Toronto in 2021, with an expected graduation of 2026.¹

Flipp

From May 2023 to May 2024, Bapna worked as a Software Engineer at Flipp, a retail technology company based in Toronto.¹

Kortex and Eden

In November 2024, Bapna joined Kortex as CTO, working alongside Matthew Ao on the AI knowledge management tool.¹ In May 2025, he co-founded Eden alongside Ao.¹⁴

Kortex had accumulated a large user base over roughly two years of operation before the team launched Eden.⁶ His GitHub account (ArihantBapna) lists his affiliation as CTO at the eden-suite organization.² Eden provides a canvas for visual work, semantic search, AI agents with Telegram integration, and connections to Gmail, Notion, and Slack.⁴⁵ Early access launched in November 2025.⁶

Online presence

Bapna co-hosts the YouTube channel @matt-ari with Matthew Ao, where the pair document building Eden.² He maintains an X (formerly Twitter) account at @BapnaArihant.³
